cloth doll prototype # 1

what do you think about this cloth doll. i have actually bought the materials since few months ago before i could find a decent time to concentrate on sewing this doll and its accessories.
i’m so glad that i found a piece of instruction on “how to design a simple cloth doll“. well, to nick’s amazement was when he saw his wife reading and following through every single step of a wordy instructions manual, with no illustrations, to come out with a doll like this. I know I look and behave a bit mad though doing things like this in the middle of the night. but i felt very accomplished after sewing it. i can’t quite decided on the design of the eyes and due to insufficient materials, i gladly settle with that for now.
hey, I was so proud to show off the first fold down pant that I sew for my daughter, Cli’e. I made her wear it immediately. the doll is actually modelling on it. however, due to my lack of the skill set and the choice of the material, the threats came off quite a fair bits when I machine wash it. anyway, i will make more of such things in days to come.
oh…i must give thanks to the Mrs Bone who kindly gave their sewing machine to me before leaving the country for good. thanks again!

ehem…so proud to see and know that you are settling down so well as mummy. I hope to learn new crafts as such later but before that I am learning to cope with what’s on my plate now.
