How exciting! Should be anytime now…
Well, i’m 2cm dilated now. Doctor said that it should be anytime. My doctor didn’t want to induce for me now as she said that it is better for the baby to stay in my tummy for another week or two before she is out, this is for health reason. so i said okay. seriously, i really can’t wait to have her out and start the tedious job of feeding and cleaning soon, plus all the confinement mandatory routine. i just want to quickly get over and done with.
i’m a naughty girl, i cannot follow through the mandatory for confinement. i know it myself. so, if anyone have any better way of doing the confinement. please do share with me.

wow, pearl, i didn’t know your bub was due so soon? i thought there was another month to go! anyway woohoo for you! i always hear mothers saying that subsequent children will just slide right out effortlessly and quickly… well i hope you go through with it with no trouble at all. we’ll be in sg in a month’s time. here’s hoping you’ll be feeling good and moving around much by that time. what an honour it will be to see cleo!
abt the confinement thingy-i’m not entirely convinced abt the no-bathing-and-washing-of-hair deal, but i did appreciate the fact that i was totally and completely flat out exhausted after the birth of joel. i thought that i would have enough in me to go out walking abt 2 weeks after but i was so wrong - it was EXHAUSTING. so more than anything, for me it was absurd for me to leave the house and go out - and it really did take a month for me to physically regain some sense of normality. but our bodies are all different and who knows, maybe second time round will be a breeze.
looking forward to meeting the family!
much love from melbourne.
