Staying home

July 27th, 2004

i’ve stop work for about 3 months now, i must say that life is not so bad as i first thought it would be. although i was tired out by almost every-end-of-the-day, but i think the time is well spent with my family. i need some adjustment though, but i think that everything works out well. Nick still got his shirts and pants ironed ready for his work and meals ready on the table when he is back. cli’e have a mom that is there for her and i have a GOD that is there for me. wonderful!

now that i’m already 8 months pregnant, GOD is going to bless us with a maid - [i pray that everything went on well]. the maid should start work end next week. this would really lift off lots of burden from nick and myself. but of course it will increase our expenses for a start till i get a job after birth. i know GOD will see us through and HE will provide me with a job or some source of finances in due time.

I need so much faith from GOD to walk His plan through our lives and everyday i’m still counting on it. believe me, i’m such a calculator myself. but i’ve been through stages in my life when Ms excel doesn’t seem to be able to show logic of what i’m doing with the fund. ha ha! Praise GOD! as He is the master of it all, He never fail to work it out for me. What a GREAT Mighty Mathematican HE IS! AMEN!

Egg Waffles

July 9th, 2004

i’ve just finished experiementing on the EGG WAFFLES recipes

2 eggs
250 ml milk
250 ml flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp butter

Sift together flour and baking powder. Beat together egg yolks and milk, add flour and melted butter. Beat egg whites until stiff and carefully fold into batter. Cook waffles on hot waffle iron until golden brown and crisp, about 1½ minutes per waffle. To maintain crispness, place waffles on wire rack before serving.
Makes about 6 waffles.

since i do not have maple syrup at home, i’ve added about 100g of sugar just to add the sweetness there… yummy! i must say. nick and cli’e love it too.

do try it! i took about 15mins to prepare the egg waffles (taste a bit like the gelara’s waffles, hee hee…).
